THREE THINGS TO KNOW ABOUT THIS WINE -

TROPICAL Passion fruit, guava and papaya lead into pineapple and lilikoi.

TEXTURED Sémillon and subtle oak bring a fuller mid-palate, with notes of vanilla bean, orgeat and lemon meringue.

FRESH Pacific-cooled evenings preserve the acidity that keeps all that tropical richness lifted.
Tasting Notes
ColorPale straw with golden highlights
NosePassion fruit, guava, papaya — a hike through the forest in Maui. Combines with oak nuance to give hints of Bananas Foster and Pineapple Upside Down Cake. Lilikoi foam, hints of homemade lemon meringue, subtle vanilla bean and orgeat.
PalateGreat texture for a Sauvignon Blanc base, full mid-palate, but still shows enough acid presence to push the wine onto the back of the tongue. Subtle notes of vanilla bean and orgeat. Like being a bartender on a Maui beach near Kapalua.
Winemaker Notes  ·  Jeff Strekas
My biggest inspiration for the variety has always been Merry Edwards Russian River SB’s that I was able to try during my years at UC Davis and living in the Napa Valley. Those wines exuded an abundance of tropical fruit, ripe melon character, and had the richest texture of any SB that I had ever encountered up to that point.
