Tasting Notes
ColorDeep inky purple
NoseDark chocolate covered Bing cherries. Dark cacao, fresh raspberry, vanilla, cassia, and white chocolate. Spice box, dark fruit, caramel.
PalateWeighty and broad without being plodding. Layered, rich texture with a long, lingering finish. Fresh Damson plums and olallieberries. Subtle oak contributing structure even as the last of the wine evaporates. Clone 470 — late-ripening, aromatic, deep colored, and full-bodied. The first Syrah made from Armaa.N Vineyard.
