The story of this wine is one of true serendipity: as Neeta and Kunal formed their winery, one of Kunal's old college roommates took a similar path and acquired a small vineyard in the Bennett Valley sub-AVA of Sonoma. On discovering the connection, they joined forces to make a wine, and this Sauvignon Blanc was born, aiming to join the texture and nuance of a Graves-style SB with the expressive fruit aromatics California so generously provides.

Tasting Notes
NosePacked with more tropical fruit aromatics than one of Carmen Miranda's hats: a Tiki-bar cocktail of lilikoi, guava, mango, and banana.
PalateMore traditional characters of pineapple, meringue, and fresh Meyer lemon sorbet emerge, quickly followed by barrel-fermentation nuances of subtle marshmallow and lightly toasted oak. A complex, layered body from time aging on the lees with battonage carries to a long, trailing, mouthwatering finish.
