NoseA clean, baked expression of red fruits (cherries and strawberries) with savory components of roasted tomatoes, tomato stems, and dried oregano, plus deep golden-brown honey. Soft, gentle, warm, and welcoming yet layered, over sandstone/limestone minerality with light new French oak showing as clove, allspice/nutmeg baking spices, and a faint macadamia nut.
PalateConfirmed baked cherries, strawberries, and red plum with a tomato-leaf finish over a savory Sangiovese base; dry, with medium acidity, medium body, medium alcohol, and soft medium tannins that taste sweet-but-not-sweet like macadamia nuts, with limestone minerality on entry.
