A Syrah-led blend with Cabernet Sauvignon (57% Cira Vineyard, 29% Kiler Canyon Vineyard, 14% Burbank Ranch) from Paso Robles. Harvested between September 14 and October 14, 2015, the lots were fermented and macerated on skins for 19 to 35 days in 1-ton bins punched down manually 2-3 times daily, then aged entirely in 225L French oak barriques (about 15% new) for 18 months. Lover's Spell is inspired by Aindrajala, the KamaSutra Art of Magic, with a label featuring magician David Minkin.
